Welcome to the world of Noir. We revisit our friend Buck Barlow, Basset hound and private investigator as he sniffs his way through the underworld of dogs in Murder on Black Velvet. In the second half of our show Bill Clause sings about the frustration of Specifications, and Drake Craterlake, former PI finds that a change of career doesn’t necessarily keep him out of the path of criminals. In the wake of last year’s proposed legislation, the state of Texolina hires Bathroom Enforcers to keep our toilets safe and we listen in on an event in a men’s locker room at a country club. Writers for this show are Michael Donnici, Bill Clause, Scott Turner, Mark Naggi and Rozanne Devine. Performers are Bob Baker, Bill Clause, Miranda Collette, Rozanne Devine, Don Foote, Michael Donnici, Mary Gerlt, Katie Hogan, Mark Naggi, Bill Pearce, Scott Turner, and Dane Zeller. Production by Paige Prouse Stallings, Bill Pierce, Don Foote, and Rozanne Devine. Our Halloween Special may be a bit early, but that’s better than being a bit too late.  Listen to a crew of ghost hunters track down an ethereal presence involving some rudimentary chemistry — but not diethyl ether.  Be sure that Fido and Fluffy are on hand to hear all about Miranda Salmonella’s new brand of pet food.  Of course, your mouth will be watering, maybe even slobbering, when you hear the recipe on “The Transylvania Chef.” Share this:Click to email this to a friend (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new...

The Annual Big Sci-Fi Special!  The tone of the pieces vary from amusing (should be funny, but…) to poignant.  There are musings from Larry about interacting with aliens. There are actual interactions with aliens with some outlandish and sometimes terrifying results.  There’s even poetry about a super-hero(?) and some plain old, down to earth voodoo.  Something for everyone!
